Steven Tanzman and his staff come from catering and hotel sales, which is why they plan the way a client-side producer would: vessel selection against your guest count and budget, menus written for the occasion, audio-visual and lighting designed in-house, and boarding logistics timed to the minute. You deal with one point of contact throughout.
Vessels for every format
Seated dinners with a presentation stage, cocktail receptions across several decks, or an intimate executive outing on a private yacht. The catalog ranges from 12-guest private yachts to 210-foot event ships with multiple dance floors and bars, with departures from Manhattan, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Production built in
Yacht Events began as a lighting company on private yachts and Governors Island before growing into sound, video and larger-scale staging. Presentations, award moments, brand reveals and live entertainment are produced by the same team that runs the event.

Menus are written for each event by our culinary team; this published menu is the starting point.
